After the success of the Games’ Iconic Posters, Paris 2024 and illustrator Ugo Gattoni renew their collaboration for a collector’s “Celebration Edition” available in 2,024 copies. This Paris 2024 Iconic Poster is a true collector’s piece, featuring both the Olympic and Paralympic posters in their nocturnal version, and available exclusively online the day before the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. In this limited-edition version, new reflections, new lighting effects and fireworks add a touch of celebration to the drawing. These posters have all been printed and numbered by hand in France, Loiret (45), in 70x93 cm format on “fine art” paper. “Around Christmas time in 2023, as I was still working on the Paris 2024 Iconic Posters, I unintentionally reversed the colours of the drawing, and that created a nocturnal atmosphere with a tinge of neon. Inspired by this handling mistake, I started creating a new version of the Poster, changing each colour one by one, thus revealing some unexpected secrets of the drawing and paying homage to the beauty of Parisian nights.” Ugo Gattoni, Illustrator of the Paris 2024 Iconic Posters
